Yamunotri Dham

Yamunotri Dham is one of the four sacred shrines of the Char Dham Yatra and the revered origin of the holy River Yamuna. Spiritual Significance
According to Hindu mythology, Goddess Yamuna is the daughter of Surya Dev (Sun God) and sister of Yama (God of Death). It is believed that bathing in the sacred waters of the Yamuna protects devotees from untimely death and cleanses sins.
